She also loved to travel, and more than anything Louise loved her family and friends. She had a love for gardening and she loved to shop. She was a member of Bethlehem Original FWB Church for most of her life. She was also preceded in death by her husband of forty years Gurman James Jones, brother Arthur Garland Sloan, and sister Eleanor Gray Sloan Sanders. Louise was born May 16, 1934, in Chinquapin to the late Arthur Sloan and Minnie Lee Lanier Sloan. Minnie Louise Sloan Jones, age 83, of Chinquapin, died Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at home.
